BLOODGOOD JAPANESE MAPLE


Description:

This tree with an upright, rounded habit has variegated foliage speckled with pink and white. New growth in spring is pink, and turns white as it matures.

CORAL BARK JAPANESE MAPLE


Description:

The coral-red to salmon bark sparkles throughout the winter months. The spring orange-yellow foliage with contrasting coral-red shoots turn rich green in summer, followed by yellow-gold fall color. Rounded form to 25 feet in height.

CRIMSON QUEEN JAPANESE MAPLE


Description:

Maintains its dark purple to red foliage throughout the entire growing season. Heat resistant and nicely mound-shaped. Average size 7 to 12 feet tall and 10 to 12 feet wide.

EMPEROR I JAPANESE MAPLE


Description:

This upright Japanese Maple displays deep red leaves that will hold their color in heat. ‘Emperor I’ leafs-out 10-14 days later than ‘Bloodgood’ which helps to avoid spring frost damage. A vigorous grower that will develop a broad shape with age.

FIREGLOW JAPANESE MAPLE


Description:

Fireglow is brighter in color than Bloodgood, with excellent sun tolerance and the red color is held well into the season. This may well be the best upright Japanese Red Maple for hot, humid areas. The size makes it very attractive as a patio tree.

FLAME AMUR MAPLE


Description:

GREEN LACE JAPANESE MAPLE


Description:

This variety is strongly cascading and the long drooping branches form a dome-shaped tree. This green-leafed selection has bright foliage and holds color well through summer. Fall foliage is yellow-gold with a touch of crimson.

RED MAPLE


Description:

Growing 50 to 80 feet and spreading 40 to 60 feet, the Red Maple does well under varying conditions. A good tree in moist or poorly drained soil. Showy red foliage makes this an extremely desirable tree.

SHANTUNG MAPLE


Description:

Perfect for street and residential settings, this small lovely tree is resistant to leaf scorch and also has heat and drought tolerance. Leaves emerge a stunning reddish-purple and become dark glossy green with fall coloration of yellow-orange-red. Shantung maple has a small, round-headed canopy and grows up to 25 feet tall with a comparable spread.

SUGAR MAPLE


Description:

The largest and finest of our native maples. Mature height of 50 to 70 feet with a spread of 30 to 55 feet. Upright oval to rounded crown with stout branches covered with dense foliage. Fall color ranges from yellow to orange to scarlet.
